Gartner

I am the UX manager for a design team within Gartner Digital Markets. We are responsible for several products that help small business technology buyers find the right software and services for their needs. Our products are software seller-focused and help them with their lead generation through pay-per-click and pay-per-lead auctions, intent data to help identify prospects in high-volume lead data, and brand-building and reputation tools. My team’s work supports all of the primary revenue drivers for Gartner Digital Markets.

 

My team is responsible for all UI and UX deliverables and conducting UX research for our products. I built my business unit’s first UX research program that conducts moderated and unmoderated research. Included in that we also run UXR training for our stakeholders who want to learn how to conduct research and understand how they can leverage it to support their product OKRs and launches. As part of our UXR portfolio we conduct both external research for our customers and internal employee research.

 

I also am building the first design thinking unit within the organization. We facilitate cross-team exercises to help business units redefine problem statements, run ideation sessions to build better deliverables, and prioritize exercises for iterative feature releases.
